Spring here in Milan! As the same time with Milan Design week!

Let’s take a look around the city, check out the cool places where the exhibition will be hidden in for Milan Design Week.

“Fuorisalone” is the set of events distributed in different areas of Milan on the same days when the Salone internazionale del Mobile takes place, which is staged in the stands of Rho Fiera.

There are many areas to discover but I only have time to visited the famous spots such as Brera, Via Tortona, Sant’Ambrogio and some places nearby Duomo.

งาน Milan Design Week ถูกจัดขึ้นทุกๆปี ในช่วงฤดูใบไม้ผลิ ที่อากาศกำลังดี (ประมาณเดือนเมษายน) ซึ่งงานจะถูกแยกจัดขึ้น 2 จุดเลย คือ ในตัวแฟร์ขนาดใหญ่ที่เรียกกันว่า Rho Fiera และในตัวเมืองที่กระจัดกระจายกันเป็นโซนๆ เรียกว่า Fuorisalone (ที่แปลว่า นอกห้องโถง หรือหมายถึง ภายนอกตัวงานแฟร์หลักที่ Rho Fiera นั่นเอง) เราได้มีโอกาสไปดูงานเฉพาะบางจุดที่ถือว่าเป็นจุดหลักสำคัญๆของปีนี้ อาจจะพลาดงานน่าสนใจไปบ้าง แต่อากาศปีนี้ดีมาก นอกจากจะได้ดูตัวงานต่างๆแล้ว การออกมาชิวในเมือง แบบฝนไม่ตกเหมือนปีก่อนๆ เห็นความคึกคักในเมือง ดื่ม spritz ซักแก้วสองแก้ว ก็ถือว่าเป็นกำไรมากมาย

Transitions by Panasonic design

The immersive installation “Air Inventions” is the focal point of our exhibition – a huge “water-drop pavilion” in the courtyard of the Pinacoteca di Brera, home of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. The installation showcases Panasonic’s latest air-conditioning technology, allowing visitors to experience the cleanest, purest air in Milan.

เป็น installation ที่โชว์เทคโนโลยีของ Panasonic (Air-conditioning Nanoe X/Projector/fisheye lens realistic 4K projector mapping) โดยมีแนวคิดในการสร้างสินค้า สร้างประสบการณ์ และสร้างพื้นที่ที่มีอากาศที่ดีที่สุดในมิลาน ในส่วนของ pavilion ได้ไอเดียรูปร่างมาจาก หยดน้ำ บนพื้นที่ courtyard ใจกลางมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปะชื่อดังของมิลาน Pinacoteca di Brera

 

 

SmarTown in Orto Botanico di Brera

The intangible beauty of energy, in the natural setting of the Orto Botanico di Brera. INTERNI presents the exhibition HOUSE IN MOTION, in three urban locations for a total of over thirty experimental installations. One of the most spectacular is smarTown, created by young architects from SOS – School of Sustainability under the supervision of MCA – Mario Cucinella Architects, and produced with the support of ENI Gas e Luce in partnership with Hive, at Orto Botanico di Brera. Visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in the greenery against the backdrop of an imaginary city inhabited by over 700 small luminous and ‘smart’ housing units, which become the protagonists of a dynamic space in which the interaction of the new devices of the Smart Home influences the configuration of the urban system. A place with an accent on technology but also on empathy, triggering reflections on responsible use of energy and the new tools for its implementation

SmarTown ภายในสวน Botanic garden ปีนี้ ได้ถูกจัดแสดงภายใต้คอนเซ็ป House in motion โดย INTERNI ร่วมกับ ENI Gas e Luce ออกแบบโดย สถาปนิกจาก School of Sustainability ภายใต้การดูแลโดย Mario Cucinella Architects ในสวนที่มีบ้าน Smart หลังเล็กๆที่ส่องสว่างกว่า 700 หลัง เปรียบเหมือนเป็นเมือง SmarTown กับรูปแบบการจัดการควบคุมการใช้งานพลังงานในบ้านอย่างสมาร์ทด้วยเทคโนโลยี และ application ผ่านมือถือที่ทำให้ชีวิตง่ายขึ้น

Tempietto nel Bosco

The central courtyard of Palazzo Litta where this year Asif Khan has designed his installation Tempietto nel Bosco, a series of wooden elements forming a pavilion that is intended to be reminiscent of a forest or an open-air cathedral.

เป็นโอกาสพิเศษที่ Palazzo Litta จะเปิดให้คนได้เข้าชม ภายในตัวอาคารมีการจัดแสดงผลงานจาก NABA ส่วนพื้นที่คอร์ทตรงกลางอาคารเป็นงาน Installation โดย Asit Khan ชื่อว่า Tempietto nel Bosco  (คือ Tempietto ในป่า) โดย Tempietto คือ Chapel อาคารทรงกระบอก หลังคาโดมขนาดเล็กที่อยู่กลางคอร์ทสี่เหลี่ยม ที่ล้อมรอบด้วยอาคารเก่า ใน Installation นี้ตัว Tempietto คือ พื้นที่ว่างสีขาว (พื้นที่ ที่มีนักดนตรีกำลังขับร้องเพลงอยู่) ท่ามกลางแท่งไม้สีแดง ที่ให้หมายความถึงป่า เกิดเป็น pavilion แบบเปิด และได้ใช้เป็นที่จัดงานโดย กลุ่มดีไซด์เนอร์จากเบลเยี่ยม

Nendo

“Movement is an inseparable part of our being”  – Nendo

This exhibition focuses on this relationship and displays 10 projects that deal with the concept of movement; a container collection that introduces different lids that open and close according to various ways of touch, zippers that explore new functions by reexamining the familiar linear motion, a window shade that automatically opens and closes according to the movement of people and light, and an hourglass collection that designs time itself by controlling the movement of the sand within.

These objects and various others presented, embody movement in their shape and function while incorporating advanced technologies, state of the art mechanisms, and unconventional materials.

นิทรรศการที่ถูกรวบรวมเอาผลงานของ Nendo ทั้ง 10 ชิ้น ที่มีแนวคิดเกี่ยวข้องกับการเคลื่อนไหว คือ ภาชนะที่เปิดและปิดหลากหลายแล้วแต่การสัมผัส, ซิปที่ฉีกรูปแบบการรูดในรูปแบบเดิมๆ เกิดเป็นการใช้งานใหม่, มู่ลี่ที่เปิดปิดอัตโนมัติด้วยเทคโนโลยีการเคลื่อนไหวของคน และแสง, นาฬิกาทรายที่มีรูปทรงไดนามิก เป็นต้น

COS x Phillip K. Smith III

“Every person’s experience will be unique because the angle of
reflection, the changing environment, and the shifting light of
the day are all in a constant state of flux.”  – Phillip K. Smith III

Designed to respond to its surroundings, Open Sky creates a spatiotemporal
experience, with its reflections utilizing light, space, colour and the changing
environment as a medium. Upon entering the courtyard of Palazzo Isimbardi, the 16th century architectural form of the installation invites visitors to explore a setting that appears to alter all the time. By framing the Milanese sky within mirrors, the outdoor piece captures what would otherwise seem ephemeral.

Open Sky งาน Installation ตั้งอยู่ ใช้การเชื่อมโยงกันกับพื้นที่บริบท โดยสร้างประสบการณ์ด้วยพื้นที่ แสง สี และการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสภาพแวดล้อมนั้นๆ ซึ่งงานแสดงใน courtyard ของอาคารสถาปัตยกรรมในช่วงศตวรรษที่ 16 ตัวงานเป็นกระจกที่ต่อเรียงตัวหักมุมเป็นรูปทรงโค้งล้อมรอบ courtyard เปิดรับภาพ และแสงจากตัวอาคาร ท้องฟ้า และผู้คนที่เข้ามาในช่วงเวลานั้นๆ สะท้อนออกมาแสดงบนชิ้นงาน ที่ทำหน้าที่เหมือนเป็นเฟรมงานศิลปะ ที่ใช้บริบทและ ธรรมชาติที่เคลื่อนไหวเปลี่ยนแปลงได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงาน

 

 

 

House in Motion

For celebrating 20 years collaboration of Università Statale with INTERNI, presents the exhibition-event “House in Motion” which brings together a series of experimental and interactive installations of architecture and design, based on collaboration between internationally acclaimed designers and outstanding companies, institutions and startups. The theme discuss about the relationship between human and technology for the future of living.

ในส่วนของมหาวิทยาลัย Università Statale หรือที่รู้จักกันในชื่อว่า Università degli Studi di Milano ร่วมกันกับนิตยสาร INTERNI ถูกใช้เป็นพื้นที่ในการจัดแสดงงานภายใต้หัวข้อ คือ House in Motion ด้วยความร่วมมือจากศิลปิน ดีไซน์เนอร์ สถาปนิก และบริษัทต่างๆมากมาย ออกมาเป็นผลงานกว่า 23 ชิ้นงาน กระจายอยู่ตามส่วนต่างๆของพื้นที่มหาลัย เป็นพื้นที่ที่ได้รับความสนใจมาดูงานเป็นจำนวนมากอีกด้วย

AUDI x MAD Architects

“Fifth Ring” creates a new dimension inside the courtyard of Milan’s historic Seminario Arcivescovile – a seminary built in 1564 for St. Carlo Borromeo. The presence of the circular ring inside the square of the courtyard’s four walls stands as a symbol of mankind’s continued search for perfection, while also defining a new dimension for the traditional courtyard.

From a bird’s-eye view, the large suspended ring of light acts as an architectural, fifth façade. But from the ground, the illuminated circle frames the sky, drawing the viewer to look upwards, towards the infinite universe.

งานสุดท้ายที่พามาในปีนี้ คือ Fifth Ring ออกแบบโดย MAD architects ถูกติดตั้งอยู่กลางพื้นที่ คอร์ทของสถาปัตยกรรมประวัติศาสตร์เก่าแก่ในช่วงศต.16 กลางเมืองมิลาน ถูกแขวนอยู่บนน้ำ ที่สะท้อนให้เห็นท้องฟ้าภายใต้เฟรมวงแหวนที่เป็นสัญลักษณ์ของ Audi

 

การติดตามงานออกแบบเป็นเรื่องที่ทำให้ตื่นเต้นได้อยู่เสมอ หลายงานที่เกิดในปีนี้ถูกออกแบบให้นำเสนอตัวผลงานของตนแล้ว ยังเน้นการเชื่อมโยงเข้ากับพื้นที่จัดงาน สถาปัตยกรรม บริบท และสิ่งแวดล้อมโดยรอบ เกิดเป็นสเน่ห์ให้คนได้จดจำ และเชยชมความงามของเมืองมิลานควบคู่งานดีไซน์อย่างแท้จริง
